Flying In?
 

 

If you are flying into our Redwood Coast area, there are two airstrips available for small planes.  Click on the Airport name for more detailed information. The use of either airstrip is at your own risk. 

Prior arrangements must be made for shuttle from either of the airstrips!  Our redwood coast area does not have taxi service, bus or shuttle service to and from the airstrips or rental vehicles available.  Certain lodging establishments may provide shuttle service to and from the airstrip; please confirm in advance with the individual establishment or with the Chamber of Commerce office at 800-778-5252, info@redwoodcoastchamber.com.

Ocean Ridge Airport on Old Stage Road above Gualala in Mendocino County

Runway 2560', hours 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., lights by prior arrangement. No fuel. Extreme wind turbulence on windy days. Watch for deer on runway! (707) 884-3573.

 

Sea Ranch Airstrip off Timber Ridge Road on The Sea Ranch in Sonoma County

Runway 2600', displaced threshold 300'. No services. Open to Sea Ranch Assn. members and their invited guests only. Aircraft parked must display a Sea Ranch visitor pass, or may be booted. (707) 785-2444.

 

Before landing you must have prior permission, and have read and understood this briefing.

  • Noise sensitive area.

  •  No practice landings.

  • No touch and goes.

Parked aircraft MUST have a valid Sea Ranch owner’s decal, an ID card, or a valid Sea Ranch vehicle hang tag visible to Sea Ranch Security personnel. Association members and rental agencies must provide ID to their invitees. Do not leave aircraft unattended unless ID is in place.
